Angelina Jolie is set to adopt a baby from Syria.
The Oscar-winning actress – who already has three adopted children, as well as three biological ones, with partner Brad Pitt – has reportedly started the process to bring home a baby girl from the Asian country.
However, Brad isn’t so ready. A source said:
“He has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle. The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angie is determined to complete her rainbow family.”
Rainbow family???
A spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Washington D.C. confirmed that “only Angelina’s name was on the adoption papers.”

Angelina adopted her eldest son Maddox – now eight – from Cambodia in 2001, while she was still married to second husband Billy Bob Thornton, but was legally his only parent.
After splitting from Billy, she went on to adopt Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005 and soon after getting together with Brad, he legally became the father of both children. The couple then had their first biological child, Shiloh, in May 2006 before adopting Pax – now five – from Vietnam in March 2007. They then became the proud parents of twins, Knox and Vivienne, who were born in July 2008.
What do you think? Is Angie really going for a seventh child? And if so, is Brad really NOT on board? He seems to understand the game plan at this point. I can’t imagine that he wouldn’t want to be part of the process.

I think Brad and Angie do a wonderful job with the 6 they have. They should probably wait a while until these 6 are a little older before adding another young one to the brood. I don’t care what anyone says, Angelina Jolie is a terrific actress. AND I AM NOT AN IDIOT.
It’s amusing that people have no memory or make things up when it comes to Brad and Angelina. Brad has always said they want more kids, as recently as this summer. Do people realize she’s in a relationship with Brad? He wants these kids too. So why is Angelina crazy but not Brad? This story is to promote a movie? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard. They’re in all of the tabloids every week for almost five years. Every single time Angelina goes on a UN trip the tabloids say she’s adopting. This has never happened. They don’t even have any movies coming out until next summer. Besides it’s impossible for Angelina to adopt from Syria. I don’t remember the specific laws but when the haters said she was adopting somebody posted the adoption laws which basically said there’s no way for it to happen.
We can guarantee so few things in life. While death and taxes are up there with the certainties, we can add a few more to that list. One of those is that every few months some source in the media is going to throw out an adoption story regarding the Jolie-Pitts, hoping that one time it may be true. If it is true–good for them.

first , this story is from ok magazine so always take it with the grain of salt. If the story is true, since brad and Angie are not legally married it is the same when she adopt pax she file it by herself and pick up the kid by herself and later Brad will fill co paper. It is nothing new.

I always wondered why she never chose to adopt American children? Say, older children who are in the foster system and have less of a chance of being adopted??
Seems like ta asian boy. It’s good. Actors like to do this kind of thing to show their love, thus they can get more supports in some we. But I still like to show one support. Many gay, lesbian and biseuxal as far as I know of Bimingle.com- have many couples try to do the same thing. It does solve many problems.

These rumors always start when these two have a movie to promote. Coincidence? I think not.
We didn’t have any adoption stories when brad has ib promition. Jealous much blondie. You always quick to post negative about brad and Angie . If you don’t like them why do you care what they plan to do in their life.
If I’m remembering correctly, since they are not married it’s easiest to have only one person sign the adoption paperwork. Once the child is in the States, they will probably go through US Courts to have Brad added as parent. I believe this is the process they used with Zahara and Pax. xoxo

I’m all for adoption and she can definitely afford to have that many kids, but when you have 7 kids (and tons of money), they’ll be raised by nannies not the parents. Granted it’s still probably better than where they came from, but it’s like she’s collecting kids. It’s just strange….
i think that brad and angelina are partners in everything, so there is likely a legal reason she is the only name on the adoption papers, if there in fact are any
Its because they are not married. He will become father legally after she adopts just like the other ones. There are less hoops to jump through when only one person of a non married couple adopt.
