Mike Tyson was seen driven away by LAPD officers in a four-car convoy after an incident involving a paparazzi photographer at Los Angeles International Airport last night. The former heavyweight champ was booked for misdemeanor battery and bail was set at $20,000.
Tyson was arrested by airport police and interviewed at LAX police HQ for about two hours.
According to published reports, Tyson was taken in after an altercation with the photographer at United Airways terminal. The photographer was taken by ambulance to hospital and there was blood on the terminal floor after the alleged incident, according to reports.
Oh my goodness! Mike Tyson is one person you don’t want to get hit by. Hope everyone is OK.

I was going to say Mike’s an idiot, but if the pap was all up in his face and in his daughter’s face then sorry he had it coming.
Some sites are saying the pap was overly aggressive and he even followed Mike into the bathroom. Not to say violence is the answer but going into the bathroom is crossing way over the line, if true.
The photographer was way too intrusive. Mike Tyson was with his 10-month old daughter and the photographer was close enough to lean in and kiss him, according to witnesses. If I were with my child and someone followed me and invaded my personal space, I would get aggressive too. Mike Tyson is just more efficient than I could be.

poor mike. i watched an interview on uk tv and he seems to have calmed down a lot. and even made fun of the fact he is over weight. im sure that pap prob deserved it….
I don’t blame Mike one bit. I would have punched him in the face too.
I don’t understand why stars aren’t fighting these aggressive paparazzi in the legal system. Talk to your lawyers, get some legislation going, something. I hope it doesn’t take a tragedy for them to take action.

i dont blame mike tyson either. that paparazzo was way too close and that’s the wrong person to mess with. kinda feel bad for him cuz he’s been trying to change and clean his image.
