Angelina Jolie Spread Rumors About Jennifer Aniston

Another day closer to publication brings another bombshell. According to the book 'Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,' Angelina Jolie is a pretty fierce mean girl in her own right. This is what the author writes:
[Angelina] waged "a mean-spirited but effective campaign" against Jennifer Aniston around the time that Brad Pitt divorced her to be with Jolie.
Author Ian Halperin asserts in his book that Jolie and her camp (including her manager Geyer Kosinski and brother James Haven) planted press stories in 2005 that painted Aniston in a negative light. Specifically? That Aniston firmly prioritized her career over starting a family -- which put her directly at odds with Pitt, who ached for kids.
Jolie, Halperin writes, "was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing b*tch."
I do remember those rumors about Jennifer Aniston; do you believe Angelina could have been behind them? And do you think there's any truth to this expose?

I don't doubt this is true. I have a feeling that Angelina gets what she wants (Brad Pitt) no matter what the cost is to other people.
Good for her if she gets what she wants but I doubt seriously she'd waste her time coming up with stories about anyone. She's got plenty of other things to do. And she won the so-called "battle" so what difference does it make - she's got Brad.
jennifer not having one baby in 7 year relationship and working 3 movies at the same time caused this rumours. Along with Brad adopting Angie's kids and having his own as soon as a free paper from her. Angie doesn't care about Aniston. She just wants her to live her life as normal other divorcees. Angie sells and the hags still buy that boring divorce drama from 5 years ago the rest is ....

As horrible as it sounds, I believe it's true too. Angelina puts on a good girl personna but I'm sure she can be quite nasty when she wants to be. The more and more I read about this, I think I might actually sit down and read this book! Entertainment :-)

I'm baffled why people are re-writing history. There were rumors of Brad and Jennifer breaking up before he even met Angelina. And the rumor always was Brad wanted kids and Jennifer didn't. Just look it up. This is way tabloids and tell-all books sell. There's a lot of stupid people who believe anything.
HAHAHA! Brad even didn't know Aniston didn't want to have kids yet although she kept signing up for new seasons of Friends and disappointing him, telling everyone she will have a baby in a few more years, she had loads of time and now was her opportunity to make money and have her fame on the very popular show? Oh sure the public speaks and Angelina obeys.. fears their wrath and adopted Maddox without Brad's okay and lost her husband to her love of children?

I am so sick of hearing about all this. What I really want to know is why would a story like that paint any woman in a negative way? There is nothing wrong with a woman wanting a career over children.
I do think Brad wanted kids and she didn't and there is nothing wrong with that at all. In the end, I bet Jennifer Aniston is glad things didn't work out with Brad otherwise she might be the one with 6 kids, and counting. I think Angelina Jolie is a wonderful actress and Jennifer Aniston certainly can hold her own in the acting field as well.

Thats a great point. Why should it be negativie that a woman doesnt want to have kids? Its her own buisness. A lot of people are catty towards Aniston for not having kids and i hear women say "ha serves her right" but I'm pretty sure they wouldnt say the same if it happened to them!

I doubt anyone involved in the publishing of this book cares whether or not its true as long as someone profits from it.
You guys remember that Vanity Fair or W magazine photoshoot when Brad was not even divorced yet and they where posing like the "perfect family"! I don't doubt for a second that this is true. I'm sorry for Brangelina fans but I don't buy the humanitarian Bulls*** not even for a second! The truth always come out no matter what people say.
Amen to that! It's definitely plausible that Angelina would start rumors like that to make it look more like Jennifer's fault that her marriage broke up than Angelina's. No matter how many good things she does to make up for it, she still ultimately broke up a family. She took a husband away from his wife. Yikes! Karma never forgets.
Really she took him away? What just hand cuffed him and now he's suffering from Stockholm Syndrome? Why is it her fault? He's the one who left. Why is no one blaming Brad. He should have kept him family together if that's what he wanted. Apparently he didn't.

Remember what Angelina did to Laura Dern...MARRIED her boyfriend while she was out of town or something....Angelina knew she was perceived as a homewrecker and probably did support the rumors started by her mgr and brother.....hollywood people live a far diff life than we do.

I forgot about that! That's true. Billy Bob was in a long term relationship with Laura Dern and she herself said in an interview that she didn't find out that they weren't together anymore until she saw them together on tv. I think she was out of the country or something like that..That's some BS right there!

Ok-here goes: I think there is truth to this. I think the book is probably truth. Because there are so many untruths written, think how easy it is to just brush it off as more untruths. That is how all of these celebrities survive -- saying "I don't read that junk" because they know it is not junk. But, see what I mean? I admire each of the three-each for different reasons-and some things I don't admire so much about a couple of them-but yes, I think I will read this book.

I believe it in a second! I think she's trying to give off this saint vibe and be a humanitarian to balance all the wrongs she has done in her life. I absolutely think that she was out of control and thought she can get whatever she wants but has come around now that she's a mother.

jennifer has always said that she wanted children...so I don't know where do people get the idea that she put her career over family. i believe she was waiting for all of her contracts finished and then start the family but of course angelina got in the way.

This book sounds like a big fairy tale to me. Who are his sources? No one close to Angie or Brad is going to tell some writer all this inside information, at least not if they wanted to remain close to them. And no offense, the tabloids can make up enough stories on their own...they don't need someone to help them with that at all.
You forget that celebrities and rich people talk freely in front of their maids, waiters, wardrobe, as if they werent there. Rich people seem to think that those of us who wait on them are insects and forget that we exist! Then they under pay their workers and treat them like dirt so it should be no surprise that these people trade personal stories for some $$$$$
Sounds like the truth to me. The spin worked in both Brad and Angie's favor, they both came out smelling like a rose. Jennifer got all the bad press.

Brad and Angelina is a little to "perfect for me". They have created this image. For example they are perfect parents (they themselves think they are), perfect partners (they never fight - all couples fight to say you don't as Brad as said is an obvious lie), etc/. Just to perfect - I myself find that I can't learn anything from someone who is perfect. I like stars who admit troubles and concerns and things they didn't do right. This from the brange - never. they are perfect.
I actually believe this. Who started the rumors that Jen didn't want children? And please don't say that because she doesn't have any at this time it means she doesn't want them. Sheryl Crow had one at 45 - she probably wnated them her whole life. someone started these rumors and it wasn't Brad he stated on public TV that their split had nothing to do with children. angie's image is very important to her -
NO. Lance Armstrong said he didn't want children at that time because he has 3 already but she wanted, they were fighting about it that ended their relationship. Jennifer gave Brad a fake pregnancy test for his birthday she did that 6th years in to the relationship. She played with his mind at the end he was no longer interested to have a child with her. That is why he said It feels right with Angie to have children. Last year when she asked about being pregnant she talked about it t as if she wouldn't care if she doesn't have children. It is not the same. Her doings gave it away. Her life style give it away.... after all brad left because he didn't want to be married with jennifer not because of the baby issue but many other things .He said it hit a wall.

I read somewhere that Jen had a miscarriage when she was still with Brad, so I think she wanted kids but ran out of time when Angelina entered the picture.
I also think Angelina is very flirtatious and I remember seeing a pic of her on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith where she was climbing into her trailer and he was right behind her, with his hand on her back.
She is a big time media manipulator -- remember the pics of her and Brad on the beach with Maddox?
And yes, she married Billy Bob while he was still engaged to Laura Dern.

Angelina is very manipulative and the NYT wrote an article about her manipulating the media and her people leaking stories. I am sure they have already planned to release a picture of a 'happy family' once these two books hit the stores. That is how she works, manipulating every one. I hope they asked the body guard about his input too. He had some juicy tit bits about Angelina poking fun at Brad behind his back.

Ang is a weirdo, but does her best to cover up her pyscho tendancies. At her wedding to Jonny Lee Miller, she scrawled his name with her blood on her shirt. She wore a vial of Billy Bob's blood. Ang is way the hell out there and Brad and the kids make her look "normal". I do not know what effort Brad made to save his marriage, divorce happens too often, but once in the viper's pit, he could not escape.

I've been around as a Baby Boomer. I was never a hippie but I'm hip. Back in the day we saw it all. It takes all kinds and some are text book.
Angelina doth protest too much. Gushing about the family but the type of family that was a purposeful trap, she reveals herself. She says she just couldn't go on without Brad and family. So on and so forth. Translation: If you leave, I'll kill myself.
The guy had a midlife crisis and he's paying for it with his life which is something he no longer has. Welp, he has to pay up if he gets away, he made his bed and now he has to lie in it. Many ppl let their hormones get the better of them and make mistakes.
I can read between the lines from what Angelina herself says in public. This guy is going nowhere. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He's trapped and, personally, I don't think he has a way out.
Everyone in their own time. You cannot say you're leaving, a predator/psycho knows when you don't mean it. It's-what-they-do. But there will come a day when we've had enough, cut all losses and not care what the other says. Pitt just hasn't reached that point yet but he'll know it when it comes.
Now we hear her statements that Brad is holding her back because she wants to be a politician in DC or some such nonsense. It sounds to me like, "You can't fire me because I quit."
