Emmy Rossum shared with the “Valentine in the morning” radio show that she met her current beau, Counting Crows’ Adam Duritz, through Twitter.
“I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter,”
She says the band dared her to come on the road with them:
That’s how we met — on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I’d never sung before … So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun.”
According to PopEater, Emmy shares that she and Adam met and started dating very soon after. She had just ended her marriage to Jason Siegel. She shared her reasons for keeping that marriage a secret:
“It’s hard to have a private life and keep it private and hope that people don’t pick you apart.”
Adventurous girl, right? Well, people used to meet and fall for each other in internet chat rooms, maybe Twitter is the new chat room?

I actually like those two together, they are an odd coupling but somehow..cute. Funny that they met on twitter, that’s pretty cool.
