Is Blake Lively's 'Gossip Girl' Hairstyle The New 'Rachel'?

If that title didn't make any sense, here's the translation: is the hairstyle Blake Lively wears on 'Gossip Girl' becoming as popular as Jennifer Aniston's trendsetting hairstyle on 'Friends'? Robert Gioria, of the Robert G. Salon in the West Village in Manhattan, says Blake's hairstyle has been the "most requested" in the last six months.
"It's aspirational hair," said John Barrett, whose salon sits atop Bergdorf Goodman in Midtown Manhattan.
Clients, Mr. Barrett said, "don't just want the hair, they want the life."
Hairstylist Nuri Yurt cautioned that the style only works for "tall, slim women."

My hair is basically the same style (just with side swept bangs) and I see nothing special about it. It's a generic hairstyle! At least the Rachel style brough back the shag look, this is just nothing special.
