Ashlee Simpson Sticks Up for Jessica
When Ashlee Simpson got news that the media was back to criticizing her older sister Jessica Simpson because of her fluctuating weight, Ashlee didn't waste any time letting the media know how she felt.
"It's disgusting that people would say those things. My sister has an incredible body," says the younger Simpson, 25. "I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she's one sexy lady."
This is not the first time that Jessica has been criticized for her weight.
"In October, an NFL cartoon depicted Dallas Cowboys starter Marion Barber snorting, "Man, I still can't believe Tony [Romo] dated Jessica Simpson, even AFTER she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!"
The cartoon created quite the stir and Fox and NFL sponsor Burger King issued a statement of apology later on for the sketch.
To be honest I've never really noticed Jessica's weight gain and loss. It's not like she was larger than any normal woman! Do you think the media is too harsh on Jessica?

I feel sorry for Jessica, it seems although she and I have the same issue. I would be a bout her size and it tends to fluctuate depending on the time in my life. Jess has never been fat, just extra curvy. Good on Ashley for sticking up for her.
Jessica is being criticized because she's an idiot not because she's fat. There are numerous famous "curvy" actors and singers who don't get picked on as much or even ever because they don't say incredibly stupid things. People hate on Jessica because they just can't deal that such a stupid idiot non-talent is famous and rich.
Oh I agree that she is a complete idiot, but why do they feel the need to pick on the fact that she is curvier?

Jessica is a NORMAL weight. Just because you cant see her rib cage, and every bump of her spine, doesnt mean she is FAT. It really bothers me when people criticize stars about their weight because they're stars. They're not super humans. I understand that image is important in the industry, but really.... she's no where NEAR fat. I could LOVE to have a body like hers. She has killer legs, great boobs, and a nice ass. (And she can sing WHEN she wants too... listen to her song "Angels", and you can hear the real talent, and not the nosey, breathy stuff she's been doing lately...)

True. Even if she wasn't "fat," she'd still be picked on...because she so darn stupid. I'm "fat" by Hollywood standards and by no means to feel inclined to defend her. She just too stupid and needs to go away.
I don't feel sorry for her. She only likes being famous and she has admitted that. She is someone who once had a "hot" body and really built a career on that for a short time. She has no talent or real career so what is the media supossed to talk about. This is what being famous brings, so she sholuldn't be suprised that people are commenting about her weight gain. The media talks about celebs that are too skinny, too big and fit. That just comes with it.
Really, so true. If you don't like the heat, get out of the kitchen.
