Lady Gaga wants to make a movie. The ‘Poker Face’ singer – who recently made her acting debut in an episode of ‘Gossip Girl’ – is reportedly determined to pursue her dramatic ambitions further and has set her sights on a big-screen musical adventure.
“She sees acting as a natural progression in her career. “One idea she has is for a rock opera which would be a huge, big budget movie made to her own very unique ideas. But she is also keen on straight dramatic roles.
“She has the drive and confidence to make it big as an actress. It’s just a matter of finding time when she is not committed to her first love – music.”
What do you think? Would Lady Gaga be a hit at the box office? Or should she just stick to music?

I am going to admit this – she’s growing on me. I don’t know how or why, but I’m starting to appreciate her a little more. Maybe I’ve gone mental, who knows? lol

I just can’t stand her… it was bad enough before…then I heard her speack at a gay and lesbian rights event (can’t recall which… but I think it was in Washington) just readingher speach, with no emotion and talking a lot to say nothing…
I like her music, but for the rest I admit she gets on my nerves… her and her ridiculous outfits…
considering how popular she is and how many lady gaga halloween costumes i saw, i think her movie would be successful.
She is a record label gimmick. Without the promotion, the clothing and all the nonsense she would be a nobody. And rock opera? She sounds like she is running out of breath every other second. Her voice has no power and it sounds generic. It is amazing what the majority of people fall for all the time. It’s like the majority have no brains.
She captivates me. I watch her videos and cant get over how pretty she is in some shots. And she has a wicked body. Then I hear her do interviews and I hate her. She comes off as this soft spoken, know it all mega star which is really annoying. That being said I will be putting her album on my Christmas list because I love LOVE her music. The trick is to not listen to mainstream radio so you dont get oversaturated with her songs. I listen to an easy rock station and they really dont play her music. As for the movie thing if she puts her mind too it she might pull it off – as long as she doesnt “star” in it but plays a supporting character. Build up her skills first.
