Lisa Kudrow Shatters Our Hopes Of A 'Friends' Reunion

Over the weekend, Lisa Kudrow attended the 2009 P.S. Arts Express Yourself event held at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. US Magazine approached the former
'Friends'
star and asked if she thought a reunion might be in the future.
"
it doesn't look like it" "Everyone is busy!" Kudrow explained
Lisa says that it's not that her former castmates object, it's the show's original writer-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane.
" I guess they don't think it's a good idea," she said.
Although, she sort of agrees with them:
"It would be fun, but I don't know. How? Why? Really?"
We can see a reunion of sorts coming up, as Lisa just finished filming an appearance on Courteney Cox's new show, Cougar Town.
"That was really fun!" Kudrow told Us. "God, Courteney is fantastic! She is so funny. I had such a fun time.”
I'm torn about the Friends reunion idea. Part of me loved the show so much, I'd love to see a movie reunion but then the other part of me felt I had some closure and wouldn't want any sort of "ick" left behind if the movie flopped. Friends went out on top of their game, why chance it?

i love friends, but even though i would enjoy watching a movie if they made one, i dont think it would be a great idea. sometimes its just better to leave things how they are.

I enjoyed Friends while it was on but have no interest in a movie. Why? www.notsohumble.ca
LOVE her jacket. Does anyone know who makes her jacket?

It's been so long since it ended... it would be weird. and not a good weird. if they were going to make a movie, it should have happened within the first couple of years.
This is my favorite friend. Aniston can jump in a lake. Lisa can get attention without taking her clothes off. Go Lisa!

Hahahahaha! I like how u mention Aniston! Was that really necessary cause this topic is about a Friends' movie not Jennifer Aniston. And let me correct you, Aniston gets attention even when she goes to the toilet!

Are people really hoping for a reunion? A movie would be dumb move. It wouldn't translate well like Sex & the City did. I really can't think of a good storyline without being contrived and worth the money to see. I wouldn't be shocked at a reunion but only on tv.
poopies
I share the sentiment

Meh. I was never a fan of Friends. The storylines were dry and I didn't find the jokes humourous. I'm definitely a Seinfeld gal.

agreed.
I also don't think that it could be good idea to make a friends movie and the reunion I think could work on TV but there are still chances of not working.
Anyway, I like friends very much and they still show it on tv and I watch it over and over again. I don't know why but I never get bored.

I love Friends and if they make a movie, I will gladly watch it. I don't care what anybody else has to say.

I used to like Friends, and I even catch a few reruns now and then. When the movie Madagascar came out a few years ago, David Schwimmer did the voice of the giraffe. Everytime I hear his voice, all I see is Melman the giraffe. I can barely stand it for the length of a sit com, never mind an entire movie. And they did end the series well, so to me a movie would detract from that, and would undoubtedly lead to a sequel--and well we shouldn't go there.
