Lindsay Lohan’s clothing line with Ungaro might have been a bust but she now has her eye on something a little different. She told Access Hollywood:
“[Jeweler] Pascal [Mouawad] and I are actually working together, we’re doing something with a friend who owns bebe,” she said at Pascal’s Nu Pop Movement launch party in West Hollywood. “We’re doing a collection for them and we’re also going to be doing some other things.”
Pascal’s people told Access that it wasn’t finalized.
A Pascal rep told Access on Friday that the new line has yet to be finalized.
But according to E! Online, – the famous jeweler is denying that the two are collaborating.
“This is not happening,” the jeweler said in an email to WWD.
I wonder what happened? Or if this was just a miscommunication?
Lindsay isn’t the only one with her eye on a jewelry line. The Kardashian sisters are working on one, too. The trio will be launching a jewelry line with Virgin Saints and Angels.
The collection embraces our unique style…. Romantic, edgy, and classic vintage… of at least we hope so
. Our Armenian culture is very important to us and we tried to incorporate that in the jewelry also,” Kim writes on her official website.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were also bitten by the jewelry bug. As we told you yesterday, the couple designed their own line but with the proceeds going to charity.

As a REAL designer, indie at that, it makes me ill. These people have gobs of money and a name in which they can launch their lines and invite all their famous friends to the gala event. Then all the glossy mags will do editorial write ups and have their ads in the first 20 pages… and all the celeb obsessed boutiques will buy all the designs. In the end the cheap PRC made jewelry with then be sold on QVC and eventually end up in the bottom of the junk drawer or in a land fill…

I can’t believe she’s trying to push a jewelry line when there are recent photos of her snorting coke one evening and her friends trying to plan an intervention at a party on another evening, which she bailed on. I guess the money is really running out.

I’m not surprised the line is not happening. After the epic failure of the collaboration of the clothing line, do you honestly expect someone to work with her until the fire is out?
On a side note, her face looks structurally different, and overall she’s lifeless looking.

If I had the money, I’d probably pick up something from the Kardashian line. Two samples isn’t enough to definitively say yes or no, but from what they show it’s nice.
these celebrities need to stop trying so hard in getting different lines. just cuz they’re famous they think they’ll do good in everything.
