Johnny Depp, joined Helena Bonham Carter, Rachel Roy, and Veronica Webb in celebrating the work of Tim Burton at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art. The exhibit, which is sponsored by Syfy, will be open to the public from November 22nd 2009 – April 26th, 2010.
The exhibition will feature a collection of over 700 rarely and never-before-seen drawings, paintings, photographs, storyboards, moving-image works, puppets, maquettes, costumes and cinematic ephemera, and explores how Burton has taken inspiration from sources in pop culture and reinvented Hollywood genre filmmaking as an expression of personal vision, garnering him an international audience of fans and influencing a generation of young artists working in film, video, and graphics.

It was such an awsome exhibit. I went for his insane book signing. The man is absolute visual genious!!!! I’ll definitely return this weekend again!

I really really wish I lived in NYC, I would visit this exhibit many many times. I love Johnny Depp (sexiest man alive) and I love Tim Burton.

This looks like a cool exhibit. I kinda like HBC’s quirkiness. I certainly couldn’t picture her or Tim with anyone else. And Tim and Johnny work well together too. I can’t wait to see Alice in Wonderland next year.
