Fact Or Fiction: Is Anne Hathaway Being Pursued To Join 'Spider-Man 4'?

Hmmm... now this is a casting decision I wouldn't have guessed. According to Nikki Finke, a journalist whose website, Deadline Hollywood Daily, focuses entirely on the business side of the entertainment industry, 'Spider-Man 4' producers want Anne Hathaway to join the film.
While Sony Pictures insists no decisions have been made, sources tell me that the producers have approached Anne Hathaway to star in the film... All I know is that she's wanted for a starring role, and she won't replace Kirsten Dunst who's also cast in the Spidey fourquel.
Apparently, people are guessing that producers want Anne to play the role of Black Cat. Would you like to see Anne starring alongside Tobey Maguire?

Noooooooooooo. When Anne Hathaway first came on the scene I liked her, I really did. She was wonderful in all those cute little comedies she did. Then I saw her in Rachel Getting Married and I thought she was terrible. I think she got nominated for an Academy Award and I honestly don't know how. It was really hard to watch her attempt to play a hard-a$$ in that movie, she couldn't do it. Then I saw that movie Passengers or something like that and again, it was difficult to watch her do anything that wasn't a comedy. Please Anne, stick to comedies, it's what you do best. Loved you in The Devil Wears Prada and I even liked you in Bride Wars with that god-awful Kate Hudson. Don't ruin this movie by playing a comic book hero, please, don't do it.
This is all just my opinion BTW and I'm sure I'm in the minority.
