Katie Holmes Grabs A Coffee At Starbucks

Katie Holmes was photographed grabbing a coffee from Starbucks in Long Island, NY earlier in the day. My husband recently went into one and said it is completely decked out for the holidays. They even have all their seasonal baked goods on display that are basically impossible to resist.
I am terrified of going in because I have ZERO self control and am trying to be a good girl these days.
LOL! Do you have a seasonal favorite from Starbucks? I hear the Peppermint Hot Chocolate is out of control.

Mmm peppermint hot chocolate. If you want a guilt-free peppermint hot chocolate you can make peppermint tea, then add a package of low-calorie hot chocolate mix (Carnation light is really good and only has 45 calories). It tastes like Christmas - if Christmas can be described as a flavour :)

Holiday time is the only time I set foot in Starbucks. My husband LOVES the pumpkins spice lattes and then he guilts me into getting one. They are sooooo good!

That's what I always get! Grande white mocha! Not seasonal, though. I get it just about every day! :)
I do have a couple of weaknesses as far as their seasonal treats go. Pumpkin cream cheese muffin, iced gingerbread loaf (working on a recipe for this one), and iced lemon loaf (figured out how to make this one). Yummy.

Love the egg nog latte during the holidays. My favorite is a non-fat chai latte. On ice in the summer, and hot hot hot in the winter.

I love just about anything there. However, I usually get the hot chocolate because whatever I get my 2 year-old will drink half of it.

Starbucks has the Peppermint Mocha year round, they just don't advertise it. I worked there for years. It's just peppermint syrup (which you can buy for around $7, just ask your barista), the dark mocha sauce, and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream. Starbucks will sell you all of their syrups for around $7 with the exception of the mocha sauce, white mocha sauce, chai, and pumpkin spice sauce. Everything else is up for sale, you just have to ask. :)

Gingerbread Mocha and Cream Brulee latte are my faves right now.
Katie is adorable and what you see is what you get. Kudos to her for not putting a show for the aggressive tacky photogs.

Not a coffee drinker. I just get hot chocolate. I would like to try the Peppermint Hot Chocolate. It sounds good!
