Rihanna Misses Chris Brown, Disappointed In LAPD

When Rihanna sat down for an interview on The Bert Show, Q100 in Atlanta, she talked more about Chris Brown and the aftermath of the assault. She admitted there are “constant reminders” of Chris in her life but she doesn’t turn his songs off when they come on the radio.

Her ambivalence toward Chris, despite ending her relationship with him, isn’t too uncommon, but I can see where it confuses some people.

Rihanna also said she felt the LAPD exploited her by releasing the pictures of her battered face after the assault.

“They were definitely trying to exploit me only because they sold it,” Rihanna said. “If they were trying to save me they would put it out …. it made me feel very unsafe in the LAPD Department because it was a confidential case.”

The Disturbia singer said the “most disappointing part” that the officials who released the picture were female.

Now, that is disheartening to hear. You can see a video of Rihanna’s interview here.

Do you admire Rihanna’s coming forward or think she needs to stop publicly talking about the assault and the aftermath?

She does not want to be the spokesperson for domestic violence…yet she keeps speaking of it…

The Chris Brown questions won’t stop, but I find it interesting the things that celebs chose not to comment on, and the things that they just go on and on and on about…she could easily say, I already spoke on this, no further comments.

Both of these young people need counseling, Brown is too young to give up on (learned from his childhood) and she to me seems to be a button pusher (sorry). If she doesn’t find out why she keeps reaching out in this passive-aggressive way, she will keep choosing the same type man over again. She seems to engage in attention seeking behavior at times, could be wrong, jmho. Hopefully both of them get help and grow.

You don’t stop caring about someone in an instant…even if they are the biggest douche bags on the planet. Rihanna and Chris have a history together, and it is a part of getting over someone to miss them. It was wrong for the cops to release the picture, but I am hoping that the motives behind it were so that all Chris’s devotees could get a good look at what he did to someone he professed to love.

Everything has a price tag, sadly.

To be honest, I don’t know what to think. I think she misses having someone love her, and I also think that she’s playing the “what if?” game in her head. Remember, he isn’t a total creep.

  13. remywill says:

Hold on……….”he isn’t a total creep” he beat the hell out of her!!! and it wasn’t the first time. Hate to see what is your view is a “total creep”

were the police officers arrested, fired, or fined? this would appear to be a major infraction on their part.

  15. Manimal says:

Money appeals to women, too. Not sure why it was more disappointing that a woman sold the pictures. Everyone is capable of being bought.

  16. Linda123 says:

She’s only talked about it in one maybe two interviews. Also Rhianna is promoting an album so the Chris Brown questions won’t stop anytime soon.

  17. JennB says:

Sorry, but this needs to be mentioned at some point: fanny pack???

  18. switchstance5 says:

I agree with Rihanna here – she was exploited and they should not have sold the image. However, it did impact a lot of girls in a positive way. It’s something where everyone lost.

  19. Anonymous says:

OMG, tell me fanny packs are NOT back in style.
