Jennifer Lopez has released her newest single, ‘Louboutins’ and fan boards are already ripping it apart. It is the first song from Lopez’s sixth studio album love?, due out next year. Originally, Brandy was slated to own the tune, but somehow lost the rights.

To paraphrase the punk goddess Lynda Lunch, to base your sound on a time period, is bankrupt of creativity. Britney lipsynches her concerts, and JLo falls on her behind and makes inferior music.
