One of the buses used in Miley Cyrus’ tour was involved in a fatal car crash last night after the bus flipped over while traveling on a Virginia highway. It was one bus in a four-vehicle caravan.
Miley’s manager tell us, “It was one of our tour buses, but not Miley’s. It was one of our buses that transported our lighting crew.”
Fourteen passengers were reportedly on the bus, and nine people suffered minor injuries. The bus driver reportedly was killed in the accident, although it’s unclear if the driver died due to injuries sustained during the accident or died beforehand, causing the accident.

I love Miley, thank god she’s not hurt, It’s really a sad story especially to the family of the driver, there are many who also got injured because of the accident.
As the girlfriend of a wonderful guy who is out on the road right this very minute as part of the ‘lighting crew’ for another band, this story hits very close to home. My condolences to the bus driver’s family and prayers to all those involved in the accident.

I have to agree. The “It wasn’t Miley’s bus” comment makes it sound like her life is more important than the 14 people on the other bus.

That section of I85 is very dangerous. It has very large pine trees lining both sides of the road. The North/South median are also separated by large trees. A lot of accidents happen on that stretch of road. It can almost place you in a trance and gets worse when the sun flickers through the trees. The State of Va. should do something about that stretch of road. Thoughts and prayers to the friends and family of the driver. I doubt he did anything wrong.
