Peter Facinelli Visits The Rachael Ray Show

The RACHAEL RAY show is getting swept up in Twilight mania, and has “New Moon’s” Peter Facinelli as a guest this Monday, November 23rd. Peter will be chatting about his wife’s performance on Dancing With The Stars, the craziness of Twilight’s success, and what the cast really does after shooting is done!
Peter on Jenny Garth’s appearance on Dancing with the Stars:

“Yeah I became a fan of the show just watching her dance. She used to dance when she was fifteen… so this opportunity came and I kinda talked her into it cause I thought this is an opportunity of a life time for you because she wanted to be a dancer when she was younger. And then I watched her at fifteen, and she wasn’t very good. So then I said oh no, but she actually got really good!”

Peter on his surprise about the success of Twilight:

“We knew there was a fan base of the books, no where near as big as it is now. We knew we had a responsibility to make a good movie for that fan base. So we went to work trying to make a good movie for that fan base, and then it kind of snowballed.

Peter on what the Twilight cast does in their spare time during shooting:

“Well we can’t go out as much. I remember like on the second one we went out a little bit and on the third one we just basically stayed inside all the time. Yeah in a group we just couldn’t go out. So we ended up spending a lot of time in rooms playing games. We actually played the Twilight game, the Twilight board game. People are like what do you guys do on your spare time, and we’re like nothing.”

I was going to try to attempt a weekend show, but that's like walking into a hurricane. I must say that it is PAINFUL to stay away. I am DYING to see 'New Moon'. DYING!

In other news, what do you think about Peter with reddish brown hair?

I just haven't gotten into Twilight for if it wasn't for this blog, I wouldn't know him if I tripped over him. *shrug*

I don't really understand Twilight's appeal. I saw the first movie and it just looked like a really low budget cheesy TV movie of the week. I've seen clips of the second movie and some of the acting just makes laugh. I haven't read the books so maybe there is something there that hooks people.

I don't know how people can stand to go to opening weekend for movies, especially for event movies like Twilight. The noise of all those people would drive me nuts. I wouldn't even bother to see any movie this weekend since all of those teenage girls won't get in. They will just spill into other movies.

I very rarely, if ever, wait on lines. I simply can't stand them.
