Heidi Klum is now… Heidi Samuel. On Friday afternoon, a judge approved Heidi’s request to change her last name to Samuel, which is husband Seal’s last name. (Seal Samuel? Who knew?)
What was Heidi’s reason for the name change? “Marriage,” according to court documents. Seal and Heidi married four years ago, and she recently gave birth to their third child, daughter Lou.
A rep for Klum did not comment when asked if the Project Runway host intends to be known professionally as Heidi Samuel from now on.
I wonder why Heidi chose to change her name now? Regardless, something tells me we’ll always know her as Heidi Klum

If she “legally” changes her name does that mean her birth certificate is changed as well or did she just “assume” his name?
She is human! I love that her armpits look like that, and she still wore that dress anyway. I would have switched, and cursed my pits. I hate them. I feel better about mine now.

I’m glad that she wanted to change her name for the moral value of it but her name is already a brand. She should still keep it Klum professionally or at least hyphenated.

I don’t know why the media is making a huge deal of this. Most celebrity women legally change their names after marriage. For professional reason they still go by their “stage name” or hyphenate their name.
