Katie Holmes spent the day in New York City yesterday with her daughter Suri Cruise. Katie has been busy filming ‘The Romantics’ in Long Island all week so I bet it was a nice break to be able to spend some one on one time with Suri.
I wonder why Suri isn’t wearing a jacket. It was chilly yesterday and Katie is wearing a jacket so clearly it was cold enough to wear one. But other than that Suri is growing up to be quite the fashionista! I love seeing her cute personality through what she picks out to wear.

Let them be and they are a great family. The world has real problems and we ought to focus on getting ourselves straightened out than keeping track of what Suri wears or does.

I don’t care if she doesn’t want to wear a jacket. She needs to wear one!! Be a parent!! She may not want to take a bath or brush her teeth or go to sleep at night, but you have to be a parent for her well being and overall health. Put your foot down Katie.

I want one person to actually think about my question; actually think about it: if Suri is suppose to be SO, SO, SO cold (she just HAS to be people say) then why does she NEVER look cold in any photo?? She looks happy and content! So why??? She is that good at hiding how freezing she is??! Yes, exactly; that is what I thought.

Left to their own devices, kids will eat tons of candy, sleep when they want too, go out in the cold and not wear jackets (too constrictive) and walk across the street without looking both ways. That’s why kids need parents.
Look, she’s not going to get sick from not wearing one. If she’s not uncomfortable, what business is it of ours? While I agree it would be nice if all little kids wore jackets to give us peace of mind to think that they’re warm, she’s obviously content. Just leave it be.

Here we go again with the put the kid in a jacket and if she’s cold she’ll want a coat debate again this year! I just don’t think it’s cute myself to have such lackadaisical parenting but I do understand how fighting some battles OCCASIONALLY might not be worth it. Problem is, when you see them playing at the park and Katie doesn’t even bring a coat with her to offer to Suri. So even if they let her make her own decisions they don’t bring the coat so if she chooses it it’s there. It was a cold winter last year and prob will be again. I personally don’t get the hype around this family. I hate Katie’s crooked smile and Tom…well that’s obvious. Suri…so far she is looking pretty darn indulged to say the least!
When I was growing up in NY I was a ‘sweat-ball’ when dressed in sweaters and jackets then playing hard. Maybe she is similar. Katie always seems to have a blanket tucked away somewhere. I am sure she eats really well and maybe a good immune system building up!
Katie is adorable and so are Isabella and Suri.
Im fairly certain Tom and Katie are amazing parents. Suri is the least of our problems when there are many real abused kids in this world. Suri is in good hands. Im more sad for kids who lost their dads in Sept 11,Iraq war and many world disasters.

This child may refuse to wear a jacket but doesn’t she ever get cold? She really does come across as superhuman or something. Or perhaps, she’s just not very bright. I always thought it was human instinct to try to stay warm. And yes, these parents are idiots! Also, doesn’t Isabella deserve any attention? She looks far better than the other two.
Her lack of outerwear has been discussed many times, she must not be cold or takes it off when someone puts it on her.

That was an extremely poor choice of words on my part. I apologize. What I meant was that she probably just doesn’t “get it” when it comes to the obvious reasons to wear a jacket or coat to prevent a chill or any possible health issues. I certainly understand she’s just a child and probably doesn’t care for coats. The supernatural comment was intended to be a referral to all the ruckus when she was born – it was not intended to be mean-spirited in any way. I am not that kind of person. I do think her parents lack parenting skills though. But hey, I don’t really know them, that’s just speculation from everything you see and read.
