The trailer for Robert Pattinson’s latest movie, Remember Me, debuted this weekend – attached to the New Moon showings. The movie doesn’t come out until March of 2010, but Summit wanted the fan girls to get an advanced sneak peek.
A drama centered on two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies.
The movie also stars Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, and Martha Plimpton. Also, in this is Chris Cooper, who you might recognize as the dad next door in American Beauty.

I read the script for this film and it’s more a family drama than romance and it has an amazingly unpredictable ending. I hope they keep the ending from the script because it’s really shocking.

robert is an amazing actor, and i commend him for trying to step out of the twilight spotlight. i love the twilight saga, don’t get me wrong, but it’ll be nice to see him doing something different. the only thing that’s the same about this movie is that there is a girl in it that he falls for. it makes me laugh to see people saying “oh it’s the same”. it’s not, obviously. i’m excited for it.
Love the movie I think i might see it. but….u know what changed my mind I don’t think so coz look at the trailer ( thank you very much I could have gone to youtube but came here first that make u feel good) back to my point the trailer is making me feel like I have already seen the movie…yah yah same story…but u know what i might see the movie just coz it him. This was not cool the thoughts that came from him.

I saw the trailer before New Moon and it looks pretty good. It will be nice to see Robert play someone other than Cedric or Edward.

I think it looks good – I wont see it opening weekend, but I’ll watch it when it goes to the cheap theatre (yep – I’m poor! lol)

Really looking forward to seeing this. I think Twilight was just showing the surface of Robert Pattinson’s acting skills, can’t wait to see him in a role with more depth.
Other signs that this movie is going to be good:
1 – it has Chris Cooper. He’s always great.
2 – great songs in the trailer, especially “Asleep” by The Album Leaf (the one that plays about halfway through). That song is just about as dreamy as Robert himself!
Grand. If there’s one word I hate, it’s grand. It’s so phony. For a second, I was tempted to tell her to forget about the matinee. But we chewed the fat for a while. That is, she chewed it.
It actually looked kind of interesting. I’ll definitely wait for the dvd though.

so they originally targeted this movie for 20-30 yr olds, and suddenly with this promoted during this time, the age market gets skewed to the left and you get preteens watching this movie, screaming their heads off every time rob pattinson gets on screen. this just great….
