Miley Cyrus and her brother are getting matching tattoos.
Metro Station rocker Trace Cyrus has several pieces of body art, and after getting a matching design to his singer father Billy Ray Cyrus he now can’t wait until 17-year-old Miley is old enough to have her flesh inked too.
“I already have a matching one with my dad, there’s no reason I wouldn’t do it with my siblings. Someone you’re that close to, it’s something that means something to you obviously, so why wouldn’t you do it?”
Miley is unable to share the experience of getting a tattoo with her brother for another year, but the siblings – who are currently touring together – are happy to swap relationship tips with one another. Single Trace told America’s OK! magazine:
“She helps me with my girl problems, I talk to her about boys she’s talking to. She has a smart head on her shoulders and anything that she decides is going to be the right decision.”
Trace, 20, also revealed he and his mother Tish are getting matching tattoos done.
“My mom’s going to get a ribcage tattoo that is definitely the biggest tattoo she’s ever gotten. I’m definitely proud of her for that. It will definitely be a little bit different of an experience for me. I’ve never gone to get a tattoo with my mom ever. She’s taken me to get a tattoo but we’ve never both gotten one at the same time.”
Boy! This family loves to get inked! Do you have matching tattoos with anyone? I have one with three girlfriends of mine. Got it on my 18th birthday.

Uh, young? She is 17… one more year and she will “technically” be an adult. Plenty of idiots get tattoos before the age of 18… why shouldn’t she get one as well within the next year?
I have tattoos for my mom, step-dad, and my two sisters. I like meaningful tattoos. And to the first comment, parental consent or not, it is ILLEGAL to tattoo a minor. Tattooing a minor is actually considered sexual assault. No tattoo artist would touch her yet, since she’s a celebrity and anything she does is public. Who would want to risk the legal punishment?
Not for me.
I have a tattoo that my (late) brother designed. My whole family and his closest friends all have a variation of it too. Its kindof become like the family crest if you will. (and no, its not the one in the picture, which isn’t even me, just my wishful thinking lol)
i got a tatoo when i was younger that showed my love of jesus and how to do the hoedown throwdown

when my sister is old enough we are getting matching ones.
My daughter is offereing to pay for my first tattoo. We haven’t discussed matching ones, but it is something to consider.
i imagine this family has super trashy tattoos.
agree. can take the girl out of the park but never take the park out of her…and i mean trailer park not hyde park. lol
Trash!
I would get one with my daughter, but she’s not ready for that yet.
My daughter and I talk about it too. She isn’t quite old enough but I could totally see us getting one together. I currently have just one all by my lonesome.
I guess it’s a special thing. Tattoos aren’t for me though. I can’t see myself ever getting one. I just don’t like them and think they are ugly.
My niece and I have talked about it. She’s my baby girl! We haven’t decided but have narrowed it down to a few things, we just need to be in the same city for it to happen!
well at least its staying in the family but i dont know. it seems like all those kids do whatever they want.
i’m not a huge fan of matching tattoos but maybe i’d feel differently if i had achild or something, but i wouldn’t want 1 w/ my parents, my siblings nor my friends. Never w/ a man. I have tattoos so it’s not like i’m against them, i just don’t feel the need to “share” ink. I think even 18 is still very young though, no harm in waiting just a bit..
I see both sides. 1-yeah pretty white trash, but 2-at least she will be supervised and I am not opposed to tattoos, but still pretty young.
The law here in the Netherlands is different. I got mine on my 16th birthday.
