Rosie O’Donnell Dislikes The Single Life

It may have been two years since Kelli Carpenter moved out of her home with Rosie O’Donnell, but Rosie is still having a difficult time adjusting to being single again.

I’m not [enjoying the single life],” O’Donnell told PEOPLE Monday at Rosie’s Broadway Extravaganza annual gala. “But on we grow, so to speak.”

A friend of hers told People that Rosie waited two years to let the public know about the split because of their children, who Rosie said are doing “very well.” Her friend said Rosie is also doing well.

“She seems happy and grounded. She’s in the drivers seat here.”

Good for Rosie and Kelli for being able to keep this private for two years! I’m sure it’s never easy for kids to have to deal with their parents splitting in public, but at least they’ve had some time to adjust.

It would be hard for someone as outspoken as Rosie to find another willing to put up with her I think. Yes I am assuming that Kelli left Rosie and not the other way round. :-)

yeah that’s good they were able to keep it quiet for so long.

I’m no fan of Rosie’s, but that seems like a rather ignorant comment to make.

  5. Ugh says:

Her gut’s as big as another person so it’s not like she’s alone.
