Questions Remain About Tiger Woods Crash

Questions and rumors continue to surround Tiger Woods, his wife, Elin Nordegren, and the car accident he was in. Tiger and Elin have turned away Florida Highway Patrol investigators who want to question them about the accident. According to TMZ, investigators have come to the house twice now.

TMZ also reports that Elin has changed the story she told officials about the accident.

The Windemere Police Department says Tiger’s wife went outside, saw that her husband had struck a fire hydrant and a tree, and then went back inside the house for a golf club to use to try and extricate him from the vehicle. But we’ve learned Nordegren told a very different story to the Florida Highway Patrol, and it does not involve going back in the house for a club. Our sources will not allow us to be more specific.

And we’ve learned there was no blood found on the steering wheel of Tiger’s SUV– putting into serious doubt that Tiger sustained his injuries from the crash.

Elin’s mother asked Us Weekly to respect the couple’s privacy from her home in Stockholm, Sweden. When Us Weekly asked about the rumors about Tiger having an affair, here’s what she had to say:

You seem to know more than enough already,” she told Us. “There is enough for them to handle already. Please can you give everyone space.”

Meanwhile, the woman Tiger is rumored to have had an affair with, Rachel Uchitel, denied being Tiger’s mistress, saying she had only met Tiger once and the people who alleged an affair to the National Enquirer were paid $25,000 for their story.

She’s even retained Gloria Allred as her attorney. Rachel’s reportedly considering suing the National Enquirer for defamation.

However, Tiger reportedly told a friend he needs “a Kobe Special,” according to TMZ.

During the phone conversation on Friday, Tiger told his friend, “I have to run to Zales to get a ‘Kobe Special.’” The person on the other end of the phone asked Tiger what a “Kobe Special” was. The reply — “A house on a finger.”

During the conversation, Tiger said his wife had “gone ghetto” on him.

What a mess.

That Gloria Allred can smell a scandal miles away.

  2. Booyah says:

Zales? A mall jeweler??? Not Harry Winston or direct to Yurman? Doubt it. There may have been a fight, but not buying that he would shop at Zales.

  3. Toya says:

ZALES???? Sorry I don’t believe it.

I don’t care what Tiger did, physical violence is inexcusable regardless of the situation. His children where there and I am sure they slept peacefully through this? This is a reverse Chris Brown. She should be charged accordingly. No, I am a female saying this. He could have paid through a divorce settlement or separation – couples therapy. Wrong choice.

  5. Anonymous says:

    LOL! Who goes to Zales?

  6. Anonymous says:

He was joking. What’s disturbing is that he would make light of getting beat up and being an adulterer. TMZ know all.

why is it so hard to believe that tiger cheated on his wife? because he seems so nice? because his wife is so attractive? umm, folks, the truth is that tiger is a brand. his late father carefully crafted this brand long before tiger could probably even say “tiger.” hence, the boy-next-door image is just that, an image. i highly doubt his wife flew into a rage, scratched his face, then chased him with a golf club merely over a story in a tabloid mag. looks like there could be some truth to the cheating allegations after all.

How gives a crap. This is obviously a private matter that they don’t wish to discuss and that’s that.

  11. just lurking says:

They are all human and make mistakes and Im sure his marriage has problems too same way people just ignored Kobe of the Lakers and Michael Jordan’s infidelity. But if Woods got physical then he needs help. We dont know everything yet.

It is not normal to physically harm someone. Could she also get mad enough at her children and harm them too? There is no reason for blood. If Tiger did this to her for similar reasons would it be acceptable? I would have her quietly leave the house without the children until this is sorted out. She could go ballistic again during the process.

  13. Jan says:

Doesnt he realize this sitting behind locked doors only makes him look guilty as hell. If it was a simple accident then say that, stand behind it and carry on with your life. If you have nothing to hide why are avoiding everyone?

As for his “off colour” jokes – do you really think people are the way in private as they are in public? Hell no !! I cant help but think of the Wanye Brady parody he did on the Dave Chapelle show lol he certainly isnt the cute loveable “Carlton” guy we see on whos line is it anyway. I love to make non PC jokes because Im so sick of everyone having to watch their p’s and q’s all the time. But there are things I would say to my fiance that I wouldnt say to a client. If anyone here says different they are lying thru their teeth lol

All I have to say is if he cheated he got what he deserved.

No one has to talk to the police if they don’t want to. This is no law saying people have to talk to the police or anyone else for that matter.
If the police want to change Tiger or Elin with a crime then let them go ahead. Frankly whatever is going on between Tiger and his wife is their business, and I’d rather not know about it.

  16. C. says:

If he lost consciousness as has been reported, he may not remember the whole incident.

all of this is just becoming a big mess. crazy.

MONCLER JACKETS, the North Face for Millionaires, tapped Pharrell Williams to design some of their winter wear and what better place to celebrate than sunny Miami? The marathon party will last all night at Casa Tua

  19. Anonymous says:

Hmm i feel sorry for tiger, so his human …maybe those so call other women should share other celebs they have conquered and lets see
who else need to borrow the golf club.

  20. But I liked very much ..

Something tells me that TMZ is paraphrasing a few things. Going ghetto and Kobe Bryant special are things I can hear their sleezy reporters say with no problem, but have a hard time believing that Tiger Woods would come up with such ‘tabloidy’ phrasology. I think this has everything to do with the National Enquirere story, and about someone calling his wife and insisting the story was true…and she went to town with the golf club over Tiger’s head…like any wife who is about to be publicly humiliated would.

  23. Anonymous says:

Tiger loves cracking jokes like this. Read the infamous GQ article he did at the beginning of his pro career. His public image is just that, an image. He makes off color remarks like everyone else.

more importantly, can someone please explain to me how a person under the suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence and causing a crash could simply refuse to talk with police? or for that matter, how a person presumed to have engaged in assault and battery (and perhaps assault with a deadly weapon, i.e. golf club) could refuse to talk with police? oh yeah, i forgot, this is celebrity justice at work.

  25. vajina says:

    really strange..

  26. Lizzypoo says:

That is beyond rude if he ever said Kobe Special

  27. KissKiss says:

Everyone says things like that. It was his “friend” that made it public

  28. QueenOfTrashin says:

Now, listen. Even before going out to the car she KNEW she would need a golf club? You betcha’! Which club does she prefer for beating Tiger?

  29. PuffnStuff says:

I’ll be the first, to say the official word is bunk. The really story was that the argument got extra heated, Tiger bolted out, wifey ran out and whacked the windows with the golf club, Tiger panicked and crashed. End of.

  30. Scruffy says:

Now THIS makes sense. Also I didn’t realise it was legal to refuse to speak to the police?

  31. ito says:

    it’s a mess alright…a hot mess!!

  32. KissKiss says:

His mother in law would get along great with Justin Timberlake’s grandma!

  33. Amy says:

I wonder what he means by “gone ghetto” on him. I also wonder if this will affect any of his endorsements.

    perfect article
