People Magazine just broke a story that says actress Reese Witherspoon and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal have split. A source close to the couple confirmed that their relationship is officially over.
Romance rumors began in late 2007 when the pair co-stared in a film, but by 2008 they were a confirmed couple.
This must be heartbreaking for Reese to have another failed relationship! She got a divorce from her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe three years ago and found love with Jake soon after. Do you think he was a rebound after all?

It's not Perez who came up with that claim, it's been around since Jake's career started to take off. I'll tell you why I think it's true, there are a few gay bloggers on the web who do NOT repeat crap gossip. They provide interesting commentaries on what's happening in the entertainment world. THEY say he's gay. But either way, I'm a Jake Gyllenhaal fan. He's a fantastic actor. And by the way, Reese and Ryan split in 2006, that's over three years ago, not last year.

'Suckier' time of year for a break. Also, her kids looked to have gotten attached to him from pics we have seen. So it is another breakup for a family as well as the adults.

People magazine now reports their reps are confirming they are still together. Im glad you are using People for more info. than anything trashy online to get your site going or for desperate hits like any B.S. on Cruise and Katie Holmes. They are never true but I dont get why Vera stoops low. If you are becoming like Gawkers and Perez Hilton Im done with your site.

Right on @ Anonymous 6:12 an upgrade to read news from People magazine on here other than US weekly,Life and Style,Ok and so many that are unfounded. I was not surprise to see the gossip here about Katie Holmes chatting on the New Moon screening. She was with Bella and Suri and also dined with her castmates in NY and also goes back and forth in Boston(now in Spain with Cruise).
The New Moon rumor is baloney when Holmes watched "Complexions of Contemporary Ballet" and she has photos with the dancers on Facebook. I will try if this works.....

At least People updates and corrects their news when they get it wrong but many gossip sites including this one just rolls with the baloney. Agree Anonymous 6:12 most of the Katie Holmes news here are false including that New Moon screening that she didnt go. I posted the addy of the Complexions of Contemporary Ballet Katie really went to but its still being approved here. The dancers and other real entertainment sites and facebook of the dancer have it.
Katie chatting on that New Moon screening is just another bad rumor.

Rarely People makes mistakes on their celeb news and they jumped the shark on Reese and Jakey. I agree with most that this site and many others are pure gossip so their posts are not news but a joke.
Sadly some cant distinguish that and this site did jumped the shark on that Holmes New Moon tale.
How many times did we see them together in the two years they were 'supposedly' together? Twice? This photo is the only one I recall ever seeing. Everyone in LA knows he has a boyfriend. This relationship was about as real as Rock Hudson and Doris Day.
i've seen tons and tons of pics of them together, shopping, in the street... i'm not taking any position on whether their relationship is fake or not but if it is they have made it their business to be seen together on a (somewhat) regular basis.
Sadly many people today dont know the real meaning of GOSSIP so they just believe anything they read.
I can't put much faith in gossip because it seems so easy for it to snowball out of nowhere. Maybe Jake is gay, but I could also see some drunk gay guy deciding to tell his friends a story about hooking up with Jake just to be funny, which then gets to a gossip columnist, which then makes other people more likely to make up stories.
