Quote Of The Day: Carrie Underwood On Role Model Status

American Idol winner and country music star, Carrie Underwood, takes being a role model very seriously. But it was her quote about living her life according to her personal motto that caught my attention:

my motto is, I would never want to do anything that would embarrass my own children in the future,”

Carrie shared this with fans during an Invitation Only Q&A set to air tomorrow night at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.

“I think that’s the best way to look at things,” she adds. “Or, I never want to do anything that would make my parents, my role models, disappointed in me.”

I think I can name several celebrities who should also take this motto under serious consideration! I give her a lot of credit for taking her reputation and public persona very seriously. There are so many out there who will do anything just to get some press, regardless of the future implications. It’s refreshing to hear someone with a grounded outlook on fame.

That first pic of her is pretty scary. And I’ve heard she’s a b1tch on wheels to work with, especially to “the little people”. Eh, she’s not been around long, either. Give her another ten years and see what dirt we can find on her.

I can’t imagine what it will be like for people like Paris Hilton and Amy Winehouse when or if they have kids… ugh. Good for Carrie!
