Adam Lambert Used To Have A Very Different Look

You may criticize Adam Lambert's use of make-up, but given how he used to look, he's probably pretty happy if that's the worst thing you can say about him!
"I suffered from a little bit of an ugly ducking complex in my early twenties," Lambert, 27, said. "When I was in high school I was 250 pounds..."
Wow. Adam said he got "confidence" and "validation" as a performer and eventually started "feeling beautiful from the inside out." It's not just us ladies who have weight issues! Good for Adam for not letting it hold him back.
Do you dare admit your heaviest weight in the comments?

He's very handsome (imo) and I think he looks great in make-up. Well done on losing the weight.

I'm not familiar with his music. He kind of has a Little Richard look going on there with all the make-up.

I'm starting to like this guy, eventhough I've only heard one song so far
I haven't heard him sing, maybe I will, but I'm glad he is feeling better now about his image. Thankfully I don't have weight issues. He is not bad looking and since he's controversial and talented, he's here to stay.
I totally understand where he's coming from. It's can be hard enough growing up gay. Gay & obese are a tragic combination. I was always obese and a few years ago dropped 220 pounds. It truly is a new life when you go from a size 56 pant to a size 31.
YOU GO GIRL!!!

I topped 160 after I had major back surgery last year. It was hard because I'd always been around the 135 mark. I've lost most of (10 to go), but at 36 and with 3 kids under my belt, I'm not sure it's ever gonna come off....lol. I'm not too worried about it.
does that mean we'll see him on the cover of Shape magazine?

I don't really like him but I think it's good that he opened up about this whole weight thing...it makes him a little more likeable. Concerning my weight I used to be at my fattest during high school where I reached 165 pounds but after moving away to study I managed to get to 125 where I hope I'll stay forever! :))
I love him[;
He's a great and unique singer.
And gay or not, he is hot! :D
245, pregnant with 11 lb 5 oz baby. 220 for years after. Lost 75 pounds and have kept it off for almost 2 years now. I think he should have remained ambigious about his sexuality-- it kept the hopes up for both teams. It doesn't matter that he is gay but it was more fun when we were all guessing.

good for him for losing the weight and for being confident of who he is now.
I'm at my heaviest now - 137. I'm 5 foot 3 1/2....what do you guys think @ this weight?
That's a BMI of 23.5 so you are well within the healthy range which is generally accepted to be 18.5 - 24.9 (some say 20-25). So you should be happy with yourself! If you don't feel comfortable though, and you are able to be at a lower weight without putting to much pressure on yourself, I say go for it if it will make you feel more confident.

good for him for losing the weight, but i honestly don't see the appeal of him
Who was guessing? It's been clear from the start.

at the birth of my daughter i was 165 and lost all of it in one year ..am now at 108 but i know that it won't stay like that forever
The heaviest I've ever been is 120 lbs... I'm 5'6" and fairly petite, though. :)
he's still kinda the ugly duckling...
i admire him for talking about this! i'm only 17 but when i was 15 i weighed 260 pounds and now 2 years later i've lost 80 pounds. it's really great that he got confident and stuff, it's really hard to get that when you've been suffering with your weight. :)
Adam went to prom with a friend of mine....to my high school's prom. I didn't know him but I've seen the pictures. He was blonde and cute, he didn't look big to me at all, but maybe he had already begun to loose weight.
