James Franco's Younger Brother Stars On New 'Scrubs'

James Franco's younger brother, Dave, (James pictured above, not Dave) is one of the new stars of the new/revamped 'Scrubs' show. He's already impressing his co-stars. Zach Braff shared this about the youngest Franco brother:

"We love Dave Franco, we live vicariously through him. He's young, handsome," Zach gushed when E! News caught up with him on set. "He really should be on the CW, he should be on Gossip Girl. I don't know how they didn't nab him up, but we got him; Dave's our CW."

Zach and Sarah Chalke are only scheduled to be on 4 episodes for the new season, helping to pave the way for a new "generation" on the show. He shares that you definitely will want to check out the "new" show:

"It's the same show—true, I'm not gonna be on it and Sarah Chalke's not gonna be on it except four episodes, but it's everybody else with a lot of new funny people," explains Zach. "It has a whole new life to it. These young kids are really talented, and people who like the Scrubs humor are really gonna like the show."

Dave Franco shared that General Hospital might not be the only hospital brother James will make an appearance at:

"It's been thrown around. He's got so much stuff going on that he might show up at some point, but who knows—he's got such a crazy schedule," Dave gladly hinted.

The show premieres tonight. Are you planning to tune in? I'll admit it's going to seem strange not to have Zach and Sarah on the show, but it sounds like the regulars are excited about the new members on the team! Definitely worth checking out!

I have it on, but I'm not watching it. Seems weird to wean us onto new characters.

I quit watching a couple of seasons ago. We loved it from day one until it started getting super outlandish.

Scrubs is funny, but I don't catch it often. There's a lot of shows I like better.

I must be living in the stone ages. I never heard of James Franco until his little stint on General Hospital.

Grand. If there's one word I hate, it's grand. It's so phony. For a second, I was tempted to tell her to forget about the matinee. But we chewed the fat for a while. That is, she chewed it.
