Actress Kelly Hu is one lucky girl! She just landed a guest role on the CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’! She’ll be co-starring alongside Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.

It’s been reported that Kelly will be appearing in flashbacks as an apothecary named Pearl. We’ll first see her character on the January 28th episode.

Kelly tweeted about being in Atlanta for filming:

“1st time in Atlanta 2 shoot Vampire Diaries. Thot I was going to get mugged on the way home from Whole Foods. That’s ok, I know karate.”

Scary! Glad she’s alright!

A little random tidbit – Kelly is the voice of Stacy on Phineas and Ferb! lol

Are you a fan of the show? Did anyone else know that the show is on hiatus until MID-JANUARY??????? I thought it was just last week for Thanksgiving but then I read it was on break until January 14th! BUT good news for those of you who are dying to see what all of the (Damon) fuss is about – starting December 14th, they are replaying all 10 episodes, two episodes each night for the whole week! Set your DVRs!
