Nicole Richie: Sitcom Star?

We did first get to know Nicole Richie when she starred, along with Paris Hilton, on ‘The Simple Life,’ so she’s no stranger to TV. Now Nicole’s returning to her roots: she’s teaming up with ABC to create a sitcom for her to star in.

The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman’s role is: modern vs. traditional.

Think Nicole’s using her real life as inspiration? This sounds like something all of us can relate to! Don’t you think?

Weren’t you just reporting yesterday (or the day before?) that she is doing a reality show????

I’m curious…especially about the using only one camera part (read it directly on variety). It could be good.

I can relate therefore, I would probably not watch. When I’m finally done with my day and want to sit down and relax in front of the tv, I don’t want to watch a show about what I just did all day.

Inspirational in the way that since becoming a mother she’s completely turned her life around. She was a train wreck waiting to happen before she had her kids.

But as others have said, it’s not a very original idea for a sitcom

Yup, i can totally ralate!!! I would give it a try!!!

    sounds lame and non-original

she can hardly be using her real life as an inspiration, seeing as she has never had a real job in her life.
