The hazards of dating in the workplace… Things reportedly have gotten so bad between former couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff that ‘Dancing with the Stars’ producers may need to choose between one or the other, according to PopEater.
“It’s really gotten ugly between the two of them since the spit,” a friend of the chest-waxing dancer (you guess which one) told [PopEater].
Things must be bad: the two don’t even have to dance together on the show! This is the risk you take when you date co-workers, though. I also suspect Karina was on the rebound from her break-up with Mario Lopez, which is party why things have ended so badly here.
What do you think: should ‘DWTS’ producers tell Maksim and Karina to be professionals or choose one? And which one would you choose?

I think they should cancel the show. It may feature dancing but there seems to be a lack of Stars.
One celebrity website calls it dancing with the has beens (I have to agree). I agree with the majority, if they cant act like adults get rid of them both. I work with a guy I used to date and while we aren’t the best of friends we respect each other and our jobs. Doesn’t make for the easiest situation but we don’t let our past get in the way.
Maksim, Maksim, Maksim – Karina can go away………….far away. They are both however very talented. Hopefully this is all just hearsay.

Considering it had been about a year since her breakup with Mario, I’d hardly call it a rebound. That said..give Karina the boot. She’s a witch anyway. Maks is pretty and while he’s tough, he’s still sweet.

They should pick the girl to stay, but the guy is hot too, so I don’t know. It seems that things got rough between them. Being near an ex is never fun.

If they cant shut up and put up then they both should get the boot. There are PLENTY of other very talented dancers out there that deserve the spot…
