Eva Green says that auditions are “brutal”. She told Britain’s Independent magazine:
“There’s always something wrong. They’re brutal, it’s a jungle. It’s as if you’re a facade, like a model who can’t act.”
“When I’m prepping and really working on it, I’m freaking out – that I’m not going to measure up, it’s not going to work. That I’m going to look so bland, and I have no idea what the director wants. I freak out completely.”
While Eva hates the experience of auditioning, she says she has to like a film as much a producers like her before she will sign up.
“I’ve been lucky. But the thing is, I wish I could learn to do work for the sake of it. Sometimes actors do this. They learn from each experience, even if the film was not that great. I can’t do that. I feel ill if I can’t. I need to love it with my heart.”
Imagine if everyone only took jobs that they absolutely loved? Nothing would ever get done in this world! LOL!

It’s funny she worries about audition you’d think being a recognizable star of the movies, she’d be more relaxed. Not that she should be getting some special treatment at auditions , because everyone deserves a chance, but she obviously had quite few and still freaking out when auditioning.
I’m surprised she even has to audition anymore. She’s gorgeous and a very good actress. I may have to add her to my list of female crushes.
