Sarah Jessica Parker Doesn’t Want Her Kids To Be Spoiled

Sarah Jessica Parker has always struck me as a woman who has things together, and her latest interview with Glamour confirms it for me. She told the magazine (in their January issue) that she doesn’t want her children to be spoiled.

“I don’t want my children to feel they have a sense of entitlement. I want them to work hard and be challenged. That’s hard to do when you have everything you need and want, so I am working on those values all the time.”

I imagine she’d have to work hard! On one hand, don’t we all want our kids to have everything we can give them? Yet, no one wants their kid to be the spoiled brat. It’s a constant balancing act.

Then again, there are certainly worse problems to have in life :)

It looks like she’s got newsprint all over her arm from the newspaper she is wearing.

LOL….She doesn’t spoil them. Have you seen the way she dresses James? His clothing is always too small and raggedy..lol

No kidding! Forcing your kids to wear hand-me-downs that don’t fit doesn’t motivate them especially when Mommy wears haute coutre and designer everything. It feels like hypocritical parenting. How about teach by example?

Is that an actual designer dress? Who would wear such a thing and think they look good?

  8. bgduckie_01 says:

that dress reminds me of the challenge the designers had in project runway.
