Who knew Gwyneth Paltrow had a country girl hidden inside her? I guess that’s why they call it “acting” 
. She is set to star in a country music drama along with Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund, and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester.
In “Love,” Hedlund plays a young rising singer-songwriter who becomes involved with a fallen country singer played by Paltrow. They embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband-manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester). Romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.
So Gwyneth will be a fallen country singer. I’m sorry, I just don’t see it! But I know I’ll be watching for trailers to see if she succeeds in making me see it . That may persuade me to check it out. Are you interested?

Totally agree with you! I was just going to post a comment about that. Why can’t she hold her own umbrella? It’s not like she has her hands full or anything.

I can’t get beyond the umbrella holder. Doesn’t matter what the rest of the article says, I won’t bother with anything about someone who woul walk around with someone holding an umbrella over them. Snobbery to the max, I wouldn’t get caught dead like that. Loooossseerrr!!!

I love Garrett Hedlund, really I do but this does not sound good and I don’t like Gwyneth. My Garrett is going to have to look overly-awesome in order for me to watch this. Nah, I’ll just watch him in Tron, twice, that’s more my style.
I’m glad Garrett’s got another job lined up, but I’m kind of iffy about this. Can’t stand Gwyneth and not a big fan of Leighton. I would love to see Tim and Garrett back together, though! They were great as father and son in Friday Night Lights!
Some of you are clueless, anyone can see this some kinda event where they have people that park cars and escort you to the door and even hold the umbrellas for you.
Love Tim and can’t wait to see it, be nice to have a good country music film again, didn’t the last one win some Oscars.
