Matt Damon Says Being Boring Has Helped Him

Matt Damon was overshadowed at his own premiere last night when pals Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed up to support him. Even though the couple didn't walk the red carpet at the 'Invictus' premiere, the media still went crazy over them. Matt shared with E! why he's totally fine with that! Matt was asked why the media goes so crazy for Brangelina and not him as much:
"I think it's a lot of luck and, you know, I'm married to a normal person. Well not normal person, civilian I should say. That really does help."
I LOVE how he says "normal person" and then back-pedals a bit. That made me laugh out loud. I know he meant to say he didn't marry a celebrity but it's still hilarious how he worded it. ;) So, when they asked him why George Clooney gets stalked so much even though he dates "civilians", Matt said:
"Those magazines, they sell sex and scandal," Matt spilled. "If you're narrative is a little more boring, like mine, they kind of leave you alone."
There you have it - being boring is a blessing in disguise! I'm sure Matt is very happy that the tabloids leave him and his family to live in (relative) peace. He's so down to earth, you can't help but adore him.

He is a good person. I am hoping that he is not pulling a Tiger and no one knows about it! Anyway why if Brad and Angie did not walk the red carpet is their pictures of them and Maddox on the red carpet posing? I don't understand.

Their good buddies Ben and Jen are as boring as watching paint dry and they are stalked constantly. I mean just how many pics can we have of Jen picking Violet up from school.

blame that on vera....she always have pics of them picking up or dropping off violet at school, it's ridiculous!! I love Matt.....he's so down to earth and really funny guy.
