Rihanna says she”found peace” while recording her new album. The singer recorded ‘Rated R’ a few months after being assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown and has revealed the recording studio became a haven for her as she tried to get over the attack.
“I hid out for a while, but that just drove me crazy. I got cabin fever. I was ready to make music again. It was a hard time, but I found peace in the studio.”
The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer deliberately chose to collaborate with people she had worked with before, including Justin Timberlake and Ne-Yo, to help her get over the ordeal. She explained to the USA Today newspaper:
“I wanted something grimy. It was important to have familiar people in the studio, for there to be a comfort level, because of what I wanted to say.”
“I didn’t want to talk about relationships. At least, I didn’t want to do just love songs. Love wasn’t what I wanted to talk about.
“Not all the songs are angry and sad. There are songs about having fun and having sex, and cocky, bragging songs like ‘Hard’ and ‘Wait Your Turn’.”

her album really isnt good at all, she doesnt even know how to sing, she only screams :/ and she said being in the studio was therapy? bullshit. she didn’t write any of her songs.. someone else wrote them.

Well she co-wrote 9 of the 13 songs that are on the album.. So check your sources before you comment.. Anyway..
She is SINGING quite good on this album.. When singing live; she needs to practice.. And i LOVE the album! Hope it will sell better then Good Girl Gone Bad (won’t happen because most people like mainstream music,,and the half of her album isn’t mainstream in my oponion). Only Fire Bomb & Rude Boy are the 2 songs i don’t really like.. LOVE her new hairstyle!!
havent listened to her new album and dont really care much for it.

I’m totally loving the new album… its not ur regular club type album, but can totally relate to the songs and they have great lyrics.

She just keeps getting freakier and more duller.. The clothes are a work of a Project Runway reject that never got screen time but follows the show and tries to use their foolish ‘The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme. Their designs are judged and one or more designers are eliminated each week by making sure the clothes they make are elimated everytime in their mind and with his family and pals.. Ultimate LOSER.. work it!
I like her new album but I wouldnt say it is award winning worthy. Its pretty dark… I hope she grows her hair out again too, I dont like her new fashion style. She is trying to hard to be this person who is bad and edgy and it just comes off as tacky. She is such a pretty girl but not with this new style.
