‘True Blood’ fans who enjoy Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) sidekick, Pam, will be happy to know they’ll be seeing more of her in season 3. Kristin Bauer, who plays a vampire who manages the bar “Fangtasia”, has signed on to become a show “regular”. She was only considered a guest star for the last two seasons even though she was in 11 episodes.
The third season started shooting this week! And there’s a lot of buzz about all of the casting going on.
Denis O’Hare and Marshall Allman have been tapped as new regulars, and Theo Alexander and Grant Bowler as recurring, with a slew of other roles yet to be cast.

Absolutely I am a fan of both the books and the show. Can’t wait for the show to start up again and the next book to be released. Love Pam, she’s a strong female character, yeah, she’s a vampire but still, love her and am looking foward to seeing more of her.
I absolutely loved it when Eric & Pam took the vampire girl Bill sired (her name escapes me at the moment) back to him and Pam said “She is very annoying.” Hilarious.

I’m so excited for this show to start again! I can’t believe Pam wasn’t a regular to begin with she is hailarious! I live near Long Beach so my goal to try and see a filming one fateful night so Alex S can fall in love with me and I can be his true love. LOL
The books are awesome and the show is awesome but they are totally different but as long as Eric is #1 I’m a happy camper.
Yes! and yes! I am hooked on the show and I’ve read the books the series is based on. In fact, I ordered the latest book – it was Sookie’s short stories – and it just arrived today. The books are easy reads…just simple fun. The do vary from the show, but I like that. Adds the element of surprise to watching the show since they did change some things. I admit some of the books went in directions that didn’t thrill me, but they’re still fun – light, fluffy fun.
I am reading the books and watching the shows right now. The books are very good. I LOVE the show! Can’t wait for the new season!
i cant believe she wasnt a regular to start with! I know in the books Pam is like amazing and to see her on the screen more would even better. I totally love her as Pam! Just i need more Eric on the show BIG time. If I dont get Book 4 into season 4.. I’m gonna flip a lid!
