Kourtney Kardashian Has A Thing Or Two To Learn About Parenting

Well, in all honesty, didn’t we all have a lot to learn when we had our first child? Kourtney Kardashian is no exception, according to what Kim and Khloe said about her on ‘The Rachael Ray Show’ (airing this Thursday).

Kourtney was like, ‘I’m so excited. I don’t have to cook for five years!’” her little sister Khloe, 25, jokes…”And I go, ‘What do you mean?’ She’s like, ‘I’m gonna breast feed.’ I go, ‘For five years?’ She has, like, no idea!”

Breast-feeding for five years… yeah, Kourtney has a thing or two to learn- LOL!

Kim admitted Kourtney hasn’t been the most nurturing person in the past.

“Kourtney was never the type that I ever would think would ever want to have kids,” [Kim] tells Ray. “She owns a kid’s clothing store, and if a kid would come in she would be like, ‘Where’s your mom? You need to go find your mom and come in with her.’ She didn’t understand it and she wasn’t that nurturing.”

But now Kourtney’s changed, according to Kim. That happens. Haven’t any of you seen those people (women and men) who you could NEVER imagine as parents do a complete 180 when they have kids?

My husband was never the type of guy who friends and even his own family thought of as a dad, but he is now a great dad. I couldn’t ask for a better daddy to our child then him. I on the other hand happen to be the opposite. For some strange reason kids were atracted towards me. I was always so playful whenever they came over and wnated to play a game or read a book dress up or even take them shopping. Now i have one of my own whom i love with all of my being, but when i get to finally catch a break and i see one i run for my life.

I don’t think that’s an indication of how nurturing a person is. I’d have the same attitude. If I’m running a store, I don’t have the time to babysit somebody else’s kid or worse face a lawsuit because something happens while the parent isn’t around.

same has you , kids love me !!! they just stare at me and then the huge smile comes and i start to make funny faces at them and then they’re sold ..i don’t know why, but i guess that loving kids helps :)

  15. Ariel says:

I sometimes joke that I don’t like other people’s kids.

  16. KissKiss says:

To answer your question: A few years ago, one of my co-workers said she hated kids. What she didn’t know is that she was about 8 months pregnant at the time. So when she had her baby, I feared for what could happen, but she turned into a loving mother. Like it came natural to her.

  17. elaine123 says:

OK, wait a minute…she didn’t know she was 8 months pregnant??????

  18. DonnaJ says:

I never wanted kids, never liked kids and never wanted to be around kids, but when I became pregnant I couldn’t wait to be a mother and I’ve never known a love like the love I have for my child. It’s pretty amazing.

I’m due with my first in Jan and I’m not going to lie, I don’t know what I’m doing! I have no idea how long you’re supposed to breastfeed as well. It must suck having every single thing you say documented and saved until the end of time. But you gotta take the bad with the good I guess.

  20. DonnaJ says:

I’m no expert on breast feeding, but I figure if the kid has teeth…the tap is no longer available.

  21. OutInLeftField says:

I don’t like other people’s kids but I love my own kids. I’m not very nurturing to other children but am very to my own. I don’t like babysitting, but love doing things with my own children. It’s always different when it’s your own.

The Kardashians are all a bunch of dimwits. Ban them all.

  22. DonnaJ says:

I agree with everything you’ve posted.

klhoe is just jelous of Kim and Courtney, bit idiot! Courtney is so cute and so is her boyfriend!

  26. Ariel says:

There are people who quote the WHO as saying that people should breast feed for at least the first two years. Of course, these people fail to consider that maybe this is geared towards poorer countries where people can’t, oh, you know, afford food.
