People” is reporting that Miley Cyrus’s song “The Climb” has been pulled from list of Grammy nominations. The song was up for best song written for a soundtrack. The song was penned by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe.
A source inside the Cyrus camp says the sudden swap was hardly a surprise and that the song was submitted in the category by mistake. The source says “The Climb” was withdrawn from the competition a day later.
Grammy officials didn’t elaborate on why it was removed or what the “mixup” was with it being the wrong category. Hopefully a statement will be released to clear things up further.

As I understand it, to be eligible for the category, the song must have been expressly written for a soundtrack, rather than merely featured on a soundtrack.
Is it just me or is she rather tan in this picture? Like… really fake tan?
Not sure on the song. I’m guessing it wasn’t written for the album as the above stated. Hopefully we find out soon!
