Okay, now this is serious. Florida Child Protective Services reportedly visited Tiger Woods’ home over the weekend in response to a report, according to police documents that Radar Online has obtained.
The document – police dispatch notes – details that the investigation centers on possible domestic violence between Tiger and his wife taking place in front of their young children.
Using police code, it also spells out that a unknown weapon may have been involved. A source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that the weapon is a golf club.
Is anyone seriously concerned for anyone’s safety in this situation? I know these officials are just doing their job, but really, is this likely to be helping the family at all?

You are missing the point. This is about the kids. Who do you think came after who with a golf club? And who do you think woke up crying listening to Mommy and Daddy fight? I came from an explosive household. Do you really think either of them are in good moods around the kids? Think about this. ANYTHING the kids do wrong right now will ignite a spark – even a simple untimely spill of juice in a crib.

To be quite honest i’m bored of this saga already, but I feel bad for the children and his wife… being the child of a messy divorce I know that its the children that will ALWAYS suffer the most…. he should have thought about this before his willy did the thinking…..

this is stupid. it was 2:30 in the morning. i doubt their children were awake plus their house is probably so big the kids couldn’t even hear anything. leave them alone already.
My first thought was you have to be kidding too, but then it doesn’t say if this was just a one time occurance. If violence happens regularly in that family, do the investigation. If it was a one time occurance, oh please, move on to more important matters.

i really do like this site, but sometimes you are way too kind to celebrities. If this was just a regular joe schmoe of course you would want child protective services to investigate this. If there are reports that the children witnessed domestic violence it warrants a visit. I dont know about anyone else, but personally I have never witnessed my parents beating each other up, and I don’t consider it normal either!!! On a professiona level, as a developmental psychologist, I think its highly detrimental to the kids to witness these kinds of events and I urge the state to do their job.
Protective services, please….why didn’t they do anything about kids they see everyday that are starving and eating paint off walls, they want to investigate Tiger Woods childeren. Why bother having these stupid agencies, they never focus on anything useful!
