First Look: ‘Robin Hood’ Trailer Debuts

The first trailer for the upcoming film, Robin Hood, hit the ‘net today. The movie stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Danny Huston (The Constant Gardener) and more.

The story of an archer in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion who fights against the Norman invaders and becomes the legendary hero known as Robin Hood.

What do you think after seeing the trailer? Are you planning to see it? I’m a sucker for any project that Cate Blanchett is involved in, so I’ll be seeing this. Check out the thumbnails for pictures from the filming – I LOVE the one of the guys in their medieval costumes driving the modern truck.

I would see it. It seems like its more of a story of who Robin Hood is and why he is that way.

I cannot wait to see it. Crowe + Ridley Scott cannot go wrong. I am a huge Gladiator fan so I really wish this one is good. Plus it is about time Russell plays a sexy role again.

Another Robin Hood movie? Gee, Hollywood is really running out of ideas. Even Russell Crowe can’t make me want to go so it! Sorry Russ

The ONLY reason to see this is for Cate the Great. I hope they have great chemistry together, Russ & Cate.

All I could think while watching the trailer was, “It’s Lord of the – No, wait. Chronicles of – No, not that, either. Oh. Another remake of ‘Robin Hood.’”

It doesn’t seem like anything special.

ANOTHER remake of Robin Hood, don’t get me wrong I LOVE the robin hood tale, but enough already…. What about something new? something original? Unique? …. No? oh well.

I’ll go see it I love medieval tales. The thing is either a Scott movie is good, or it’s bad. I don’t feel like this will be that awesome, it’s just another take on the story and again, everybody is avoiding the truth. I guess maybe because it’s not as gun ho and too realistic for Hollywood but it’s still worthy of a movie itself. One more thing. Sorry but the cast is kind of old. At this time you could barley make it to 2 let alone 40. Anywho, I’ll be there.

    It actually looks pretty good.
