Kendra Wilkinson insists she was “calm” when giving birth. The 24-year-old former Playboy model, who gave birth to nine pound five ounce Hank Randall Baskett IV on December 11, admitted she couldn’t stop eating because she was so “nervous” ahead of her hospitalization. She told OK! magazine:
“The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital.
“I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s nine pounds!
“I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like ‘Is it happening yet?’ “
Her husband, Hank Baskett, claimed he was still in shock about the birth but is glad he was present for the delivery.
“It was awesome. I am in straight awe, trust me.”
How soon before this little tot is hanging out at the Playboy mansion? LOL. Wonder if Hugh Hefner will get Hank Jr. a little red velvet robe as a gift.

a whole batch of brownies?? lol! i can’t imagine being pregnant…i’d probably clean out our fridge in a day! congrats to her…she seems so happy (:
More power to her if she really did eat that much. I couldn’t eat as much at one sitting when I hit my third trimester.
I think the 9 pounds have a lot to do with the father’s genes:)) Congratulations!!
I had to be induced too…what an experience. LOL!
I’ve heard such scary things about being induced. Reading about it makes me cringe, BUT it sounds like everything went great for her. I’m happy about that. Congrats to her and her hubby!
