Noah Cyrus put on a performance that has people talking. Why on EARTH does this 9 year old know Akon's lyrics and dance routine to 'Smack That'? And how come no one is stopping her telling her it's inappropriate?
What do you think about this video? Is this just a few people having fun? Or is Miley Cyrus a bad influence on her little sister? A 17 year old dipping on the floor and smacking her rear is bad enough - now we have to deal with her 9 year old sister doing the same thing?

hmm well i think i was dancing just as disgustingly when i was a little kid, i didn't really get the lyrics and it was fun to mimic the adults, also at that age you kind of feel older and don't realize how much of a tiny child you are to the rest of the world. What makes it inappropriate IMO is making it public like this. No cameras and just dancing in front of your family would be fine to me, though kids would prob. be better off not hearing this kind of music.

Good points. I'm sure most of us have sung and danced to inappropriate things, but our parents didn't broadcast it online (or anywhere in public) as if it was adorable and to be praised.

She most likely doesn't think about the what the lyrics mean. When I was young I continuously sung that Divinyls song I Touch Myself lol. I had no idea what it meant. Or the Vengaboys Boom Boom Boom. Although, luckily the dance I was doing didn't match the words I was singing. Maybe thats the controversy.

Noah is a little girl who just wants some attention. If this had been a "real performance" there would be something to get upset about. Looks like it was backstage with sister and crew or staff and/or friends. I've not seen a lot of Miley's work, but enough to know she's very talented. She is also still a kid and I wish all the negative things said about her would stop. I don't understand the constant trashing. Now you/they have started on her little sister. There are plenty of grown ups making big enough mistakes to keep you all busy. Leave the kids alone!

I think that it was just a little girl singing goofing around and having a good time like little girls do. If this was just some random persons little sister it would be no big deal. So why is this a big deal? She's only 9 give her a break
