Finally, at long, loooong last, it’s over for the Gosselin marriage. According to Radar Online, Kate got “most of the cash” and the family home in Pennsylvania. Here’s Kate’s statement:
“I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children. On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.”
Kate’s attorney added that she would live in the family home in Pennsylvania with the kids. I guess that’s the end of the week-by-week switches?
Jon’s camp has not issued a statement at this time. According to TMZ, however, he’s in serious trouble: he was ordered to make “huge child support payments” and with TLC’s injunction, he can’t work. Time to brush up on those computer skills, I say.

Let’s see how well Kate does without the 8 kids or Jon to browbeat…..bet her new show tanks within weeks. She’s just not that interesting on her own.
Congrats Kate! She’d better not count on getting that child support any time soon though. I’d change the locks and put in a high end security system ASAP. Jon’s new gun hobby is a little frightening. Now Kate can keep the HO’s away from the kids. Best wishes!

I stop commenting about this subject a while back, because let’s be honest what else could we say about the disgusting John Gosselin?? Now that their divorse is finalized, i only have one more final thing to say to Kate. Mazel Tov!
I’m glad it’s all over and I’m glad Jon got the short end of the stick. I think he thought he’d get all this sympathy from people because of how Kate treated him and he’d make all this money and whatnot. Too bad he started acting like a D-bag and now everyone hates him.
He had the chance to be loved, I mean loved, by the public when everything broke! People were hating Kate because of how she treated him; they for the most part felt sorry for Jon. But wow did he screw it up big time!! lol
I’m not sure what he was expecting… He bit the hand that fed him. I am not surprised Kate seemed so annoyed with Jon all the time. He appears to have a spectacularily poor sense of judgement and cannot be trusted… He was like her ninth kid.
With eight kids to house, feed, clothe, educate, I cannot even imagine what Kate is going to have to earn in order to make ends meet. Even a cheap college for eight will cost her over a million bucks!!! I doubt Jon will ever contribute in a meaningful way…
I’ve noticed that many people online have the same problem. Must be an undiagnosed learning disability.
