Simon Monjack has spoken out to Access Hollywood about the loss of his wife, Brittany Murphy.
My world was destroyed yesterday,” an emotional Monjack told Access Hollywood on Monday afternoon.
He said the day of her death had been uneventful up until the point when Brittany’s mother found her.
“[Her mother] Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran. Then called 911,” he revealed.
He said Brittany had been ill, but nothing very serious.
She had laryngitis,” he said, noting she had seen a doctor. “She had been tired at the end of the year. She had made a couple movies.”
When asked about potential “bad influences” being around Brittany, Simon said:
“I don’t know why anyone would think that,” he said. “She found love. We found love. Brittany didn’t get to where Brittany was with anyone controlling her… Brittany was Brittany.”
The autopsy was finished today but the results won’t be revealed for a few weeks, when the toxicology reports are ready. This is just still so shocking.

I lost my partner 4 years ago… you cann’t discribe the intense pain that you experience… I feel for him and wish him strength to get through the coming years….

If he didn’t talk then people would be wondering what he’s hiding. It’s a no win situation.

But it seems a little soon to me for him to be talking to access hollywood or any other news outlet in my opinion. She just passed away yesterday and he is already speaking out. But who I am to say whats right?
