Actress Bryce Dallas Howard is spending her days leading up to Christmas by promoting her upcoming flick, “Loss of A Teardrop Diamond“. She stopped by Good Morning America and then headed over to chat with the ladies of The View. The ladies wanted to dish about her “other” movie – they got her to open up a bit about taking over the character of Victoria in the upcoming ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’. She was asked if she felt pressure coming into a role that had been established already.
Yeah, yes, very much so,” Bryce said
She shared that Rachelle Lefevre was very kind to her about the situation:
“I felt really grateful to the cast and to everyone and actually Rachelle herself just was so gracious,” Bryce said. “Really, the intention is just to make the best film possible and you know, it was really terrible what happened but I did my best.”
For those who don’t know, the studio replaced Rachelle with Bryce, claiming a “scheduling conflict”.
Have you seen New Moon yet? Rachelle’s scenes are fantastic. That being said, I’m finally coming to terms with the replacement. Both women are terrific actresses and I’m sure Bryce will be great. What do you think?

Anything to make Eclipse a great film is fine with me, though it is sad that Rachael won’t be in Eclipse. I love her hair, she’s gorgeous (:
my legs look like hers ):
I love BDH, she’s one of my favorite actresses.
We could only wait and see.
The woman is a doll.
