Alyson Hannigan’s nine-month-old daughter plays tricks on her.
The ‘American Pie’ star’s nine-month-old baby Satyana Marie finds it funny to tease her mother at bedtime to avoid going to sleep.
She plays jokes on me when I try to put her to bed. This one time, I told her that ‘It’s time for bed’ and she has to go to sleep. She put her head down when I said the word ‘sleep’ and as soon as I got to the door, she would prop herself up and start laughing. She did this at least 12 times.”
The 35-year-old actress loves motherhood and is so “fascinated” by Satyana – her child with husband Alexis Denisof – she watches her play for hours on end. She explained to Working Mother magazine:
“There’s so much that happens the first year. I could watch her all day long, just to see her discovering new things… I’m so fascinated by her.
“The most joy is when I can just be on the floor with her and watch her play with one of her toys, or discover how to put her toes in her mouth – something very baby-like.
“It’s just the most rewarding aspect of my life so far. All the cliches are so true. I just love her so much.”
Alyson can’t bear to be away from the tot for long and has even built a nursery on the set of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ so she can look after Satyana between scenes.
“They’ve set up a nursery. So I get to go in and feed her, nurse her and change her diaper.
“I just don’t know how I could be away from her for that long otherwise.”
Lucky for her the studio was so accommodating. 
It’s been nine months already? It’s crazy how fast time flies.
Alyson seems so happy and bubbly… and that baby is definitely not short on being loved!
