Charlie Sheen spoke to a judge, posted an $8500 bond, and was released from jail last night. TMZ is reported alcohol was involved in the alleged domestic violence incident, but it was Brooke Mueller, Charlie’s wife, who was legally drunk, not Charlie.
Brooke reportedly recanted her allegations of domestic violence right before Charlie’s bond hearing. Charlie claims he was simply defending himself against Brooke, but he was still charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor relating to domestic violence.
Charlie is due back in court February 8. What a mess.

I’m sure when Brooke married him she thought things would be different for her than they were from his previous marriages, because he really did love her and she was so much more special than any of the other women who have filed complaints against Charlie. (insert tongue in cheek here). So sad that they brought children into the mess that is his private life.
