Brad Pitt Joining Robert Downey, Jr. In ‘Sherlock Holmes’ Sequel

Now this would be an interesting pairing. According to PopEater, Brad Pitt will join Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law in the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ sequel.

The director, Guy Ritchie, loves Brad,” an industry source tells [PopEater]. “He has worked with him before and thinks he is one of the most underrated actors working today. Guy knows that everyone thinks of as a Pitt as a pretty boy and can’t wait to turn him into the world’s greatest supervillain. It will definitely make the sequel a must-see.”

Brad Pitt: underrated? I’ve never heard him described that way before, but whatever gets him the role works for me :)

I think Brad would be a great addition to ‘Sherlock Holmes’: what do you think?

Brad should shave that disgusting beard already….I guess that freak Angelina like that.

  3. testguy says:

Brad used to be one of the best actors in the world. But for the last few years he has been reduced to a tabloid accessory. It will be nice to see him actually acting again, instead of just serving as Angelina’s prop for photo ops. Hope he remembers how!

  4. Anon says:

Pitt is neither a boy, nor pretty (any more)…lol

These days, he is some bizzare cult person…

He is very underrated. He is very versalte actor. ‘The problem as the biggest movie star in the world he is, his looks and personal life takes away from his work, He will be great if he is cast in. I for one would die to see him as supervillan.
There is one hater or two who always say bad things about him here and other sites. F*uck off jealous b*tchies.

its really funny (and scary) that “an industry source” is the source for this quote and probably 95% of the gossip news.

  10. Cpm says:

What an amazingly stupid idea. Brad Pitt doesn’t project “evil genius”. Brit gossip mongers are having a circle-jerk again.

If anything, Brad is way overrated. RDJ will mop the floor with him and leave him in the dust.

ummmm you mean overrated!! and he’s not a pretty boy anymore and he hasn’t been for the last 5 years or so. i just burst out laughing reading that quote.

  14. Star says:

Its good to see other people agree with me that Brad Pitt is overrated. I always thought I was crazy or something when I’d hear people rave about what an amazing actor he is. It’s almost like “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. Everyone just goes along with the general consensus. Is it just me or is he pretty blank and stiff throughout most of his roles? And yeah he has lost de pretty boy thing. All he’s got left is de publicity he attracts.
