In Touch reports this as fact, but I have to admit, I’m kinda hoping it’s fiction. Anyway, the story is that Kate Hudson started calling ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson when things began unravelling with Alex Rodriguez.
Says an insider, “They hadn’t seen each other for some time, but when things took a turn for the worse with Alex, Kate got in touch with Owen. They are reestablishing their friendship – we’ll see what happens.
They know each other really well. They were talking about getting married at one time,” says the insider. “Their friends also think there are unresolved feelings between them. There’s something there.”
Well, Kate and Owen make one adorable-looking couple, I’ll give them that. And I can see where there may be unresolved feelings, but that doesn’t necessarily mean rekindling a relationship is a good idea. It seems like too much has happened with them.
It should also be noted that Owen was recently spotted with a “mystery woman” in Hawaii this week, so who knows what’s going on there?
Yet, if Kate and Owen are truly in love, then they’re in love. Honestly, only they know.

its always been said that when she breaks up with whomever she’s with she runs to Owen til the next flavor of the week comes by.

Kate Hudson has major daddy issues and it is really showing in her relationship choices. Goldie who at the time of her divorce from Bill Hudson was super famous with lots of power basically turned this girl against her father at an early age to the point where they hardly saw eachother. I believe that is why she now clings to any man that shows her any attention. I mean doesn’t anyone find it strange that even though her dad is alive she only mentions Kirk. From what I have heard is that her father was basically shut out of her and Oliver’s lives after things fell apart between him and Goldie. She was told that he was not a responsible father and did not want to make the attempt to know his kids. That can have a serious effect on a young girl. Why do you think she got married so early after such a short courtship. She needs to really look into that.
Those two will never work. He’s too much of a player. What’s the matter with her anyways? Can’t she just stand being by herself for a little while?

Fiction. I don’t think that Kate and Owen were even “together” – in that way, y’know – that last time (back in February 2009).
I think that he was coming off drugs around that time and trying to stay clean and then he had to go to Europe to promote “Marley and Me”. He probably wouldn’t agree to a “sober minder”, so Kate said that she would go and keep any eye on him and he agreed to that.
In all the pics/videos of that time together, they looked WAY more like friends than lovers (like they had before). The timing of that was really weird and then they “broke up” soon after they returned from that trip.
I think Owen’s still using and now that her son is older and understands more, she wouldn’t have Owen around him until and unless he cleans up his act.
BTW – InTouch also said that Angelina is pregnant again. Stay tuned in nine months …
Kate and Owen should try just being friends since they don’t seem to work as a couple. If a miracle happens and they do find a way to make it last, then that would be great, because they are a cute couple with a lot of similar interests. It’s a long shot, though.
