Well, this is about as unlikely a pairing as you’ll ever see, but I love it! Elton John, who’s been very open about his own history with substance abuse, says he’s been helping rapper Eminem overcome his drug addiction.
“I’m there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it.
“I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly,” John says.
It seems to be helping: Eminem has seemed pretty stable for the last couple of years, hasn’t he? What a generous thing for Elton to do

Eminem is a great artist and famous. Drugs will just ruin his life and career.
I think Elton is actually helping him to come out of the closet.
This is exactly what keeps one clean and sober, its called service. Good job Elton.

I love Elton Jon’s music. He’s got an incredible body of work. I suspect, that like with helping Eminem, he’s been involved in quite a bit more charitable work than he lets on.
