Okay, by now we’ve all heard about Tiger Woods and his many alleged affairs. Did you ever stop to think about the person who first blabbed all about Rachel Uchitel to the National Enquirer, which started this whole mess?
Her name is Ashley Samson. She sold the story to the National Enquirer for $25,000, even though Tiger’s camp reportedly offered her $200,000 to keep quiet. Why did she do this?
“I’ve been offered lots of money to deny my story, but I chose not to take the money because the truth is the truth.”
However, Ashley isn’t happy about the fallout from her revelations.
“She has made my life hell,” Ashley said about Uchitel. “I have been attacked by fans of Tiger Woods and friends of mine even are basically upset because she made me out to look like the bad guy when in fact the truth is he’s the one that was cheating on his wife.”
So Ashely is considered taking Rachel to court because Rachel has been “trashing my name.”
WHAT?! I’d always assumed whoever spoke to the National Enquirer did so for the money, but if she was offered more money to keep quiet, then I don’t know what Ashley’s motives were. I mean, none of this was any of her business!

I’m sure it’d be very difficult for someone to get through to a celebrity (or their spouse) so perhaps that’s why she went to the media. It’s unlikely that she could just call Elin up and let her know.
Tiger Woods, his mistresses, Samson are all a bunch of losers. I guess birds of a feather do flock together.
I agree that Elin deserves to be told, but why through the media??? On another note wtf is she wearing.??? showing her belly and low cut top when all the people in the background are rugged up to the hilt??? I don’t get a good vibe from this woman at all.

Perhaps this women didn’t go about it in the right way…perhaps she didn’t see any other way of letting Elin know her husband was lying cheating man $lag but I don’t think she should be slandered for letting the cat out of the bag…..just sayin
Well I may be alone in this opinion…but I don’t think she’s in the wrong at all. CHEATERS Are wrong. I absolutely do not support anyone who cheats on thier spouse/partner. If it were none of her business, then Rachel should never have shared that information. If Rachel truly wanted to keep it private she would never have opened her mouth in such a bragadocious way. She brought this all on herself one for getting involved with a married man and two by bragging to anyone who’d listen.

I agree. How would you all feel if your partners were blatantly cheating on you, but no one told you because it was “none of their business”? It certainly makes a difference when you’re the one being made a fool of.

Perhaps Ashley has been cheated on before and feels that what Tiger was doing to his wife was wrong. Frankly, if my husband was having an affair (or 13), I would want to know. And if a friend or someone I know knows about and it and doesn’t tell me….well, I’d be very angry at them. Not only for moral purposes but HIV and Herpes are a real concern in a situation like this. Perhaps that was Ashleys mind set?
i feel like she went about it in the wrong way…she could have went to ELIN’S CAMP…instead of the NATIONAL ENQUIRER. but i do agree with the if you know my husband is cheating on me and don’t tell me, i’m going to be pissed at you too!
I just think that if Tiger’s camp was really willing to pay her way more money to keep quiet she obviously had a way to let Elin know. I will also note that I think cheating is completely unexceptable and I feel so awful for Elin, that poor woman. To have the reaction she had she really must have been blinsided. I don’t think Ashley was doing it to let Elin know she was doing it for revenge and personal reasons.
